This is the view looking back into the performers'area. There's a lot more to it in behind the cookshack on the right, which, is where they did a fantastic job keeping all the musicians fed.

This is as close as it came to rain for the whole weekend. Gave us some nice colors but otherwise, sunny and WARM!!

Here's what it looks like from the stage during daylight. That isnt us playing it's friends of ours The Haymakers (I think...I'm sure Uwe will correct me if I'm wrong).

This is Chris the Rangeton emcee. What a great dude. He also emcees at the North Country Fair and runs the jam stage there.

Drums set up in the main recording room.

Dean plays a Sonor kit in the studio and live. They're miked-up with a variety of microphones including SM57s, MD421s, C414s and more.

These are the amps and cabinets Shane brought. They are (cabs L-R) An '80s Marshall cab made for and used by Yngwie Malsteem. Truth!. It has the old 75s in it. Next is a 1976 4-12 Marshall loaded with G12-H30 blackbacks. The blonde cab is a 2-12 Avatar cab loaded with G12-M25s.
(heads top-bottom, L-R) A 1967 Traynor YBA-1, a 1973 Traynor YBA1A-MKII, a 1973 50W Marshall JMP, a Ceriatone 18/36W EL84 amp based on a Marshall 1974X, a 1984 Marshall JCM800 2204.
They can ALL be heard on the CD.

Brian's bass rig. He plays Fender Jazz basses mainly and always through a Mesa Boogie 400Plus that pushes over 500watts of crushing tube power. He puts it through a 4-10 cabinet and a single 15. In the studio, we miked the 15 and sent a line. All phase corrected of course.

Here's how it all starts. In this shot Shane is playing and singing in the control room while Dean is drumming in the main room with Brian playing in the bass booth. Shane's amps are in the guitar room. These are called scratch or reference tracks for Shane and Brian. What they play and sing will not make it to the CD. Dean's drumming for this part will though. Shane and Brian are only playing as a guide. They will later go back and re-record their parts.

Setting-up

Final touches. Hey...who let Dean out from behind the drums?

While he was out gallavanting, we got Dean to go out front and make sure the sound was awesome. We got Robert Dalke to sit-in for the soundcheck.

Once the sound was perfect, Dean got back behind the wheel and we kicked-off the free afternoon.

We found a few more bugs before we were sure we could hand the stage over.

First up was Sangudo recording artist Sunny Mosier.

Sunny has a golden voice and GREAT songs. You have to check out her CD!

Next up were good friends of ours from various bands who were kind enough to come out to give us a hand and play for everyone.

That's Gernot with his back to us and Kim at the mic. Robert is holding down the foundation along with Magnus on the bass...in the next photo.

Here he is. This is Magnus pumping-out the bottom end.

And we're back to close the show with a bang.

Couldnt ahve asked for a better day.

And hopefully this is just the start of something more regular at the park.
